The Baron or Mayor Island (the largest and the best preserved), the Perdiguera Island, the Deer Island (connected to La Manga artificially), the Sujeto Island and the Redonda Island become very special places to discover the regional flora and fauna.
The Carmolí Vulcan, emerged during the eruption of Minor Sea Islands, has about 111 meters and is perfect to discover the rock formations and the native vegetation.
If you are a golf lover, you have two golf courts at your service: The Roda Golf and the Serena Golf clubs.The first one, the Roda Golf has been the first golf court in Murcia to get the ISO 14001 environmental certificate. You could learn how to play this amazing sport by taking some learning courses and if you are already a usual golf player, you will be happy to know that The Roda Golf court has 18 holes and 6.177 meters. The greatest thing of it is clearly its strategically placed bunkers, lakes and the beautiful views.

Cartagena’s history has special relevance because of its foundation, carried out by the Carthaginian Hasdrubal. The city of Quart Hadast, founded by the Carthaginians at 228 a.C., was invaded by the roman army during the Second Punic War (209 a.C.).
Transformed in a very important city, due to archeological samples, nowadays Cartagena has a range of very ancient monuments, such as the roman theater, the amphitheater, the old cathedral of Santa Maria, the Concepción Castle, the House of Fortune and the Punic Wall.
